1. Data controller

The controller of your data is Lakay Games, whose registered office is located at 1 chemin des Coutures, 94200 Ivry-sur-Seine, France. Contact for any question about your data: contact@lakaygames.com. Data protection officer: no data protection officer has been appointed to date.

MyMoun is a dating service reserved for people aged 18 and over. This policy explains what data we process, why, and what your rights are.

2. Data we process

• Account: email address, password (never stored in plain text), email verification status.
• Profile: nickname or first name, date of birth (not published, only your age is shown), the city and country you enter, introduction, dating goal, interests, up to 6 photos (EXIF metadata removed).
• Activity: likes, matches, private messages, blocks, reports, profile pause, language preference.
• Notifications: if you enable them, the Web Push subscription data provided by your browser.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, connection dates, error information, security logs and audit logs of administration actions.
• Acquisition: campaign or referral link parameters (ref, utm_*), used for aggregated statistics only.

We do not collect your GPS location: your city is the one you enter yourself.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service (account, profile, discovery, likes, matches, messaging, pause, export, deletion): performance of the contract.
• Security, moderation and abuse prevention (photo review, handling of reports, anti-bot protection, fraud and scam prevention, logs): legitimate interest in protecting the service and its members.
• Aggregated acquisition statistics and error tracking: legitimate interest in improving the service.
• Web Push notifications and non-essential trackers: your consent.
• Legal obligations (responding to authorities, reporting illegal content, mandatory retention): legal obligation.

Photo moderation is carried out by (human, automated or mixed means). You can challenge any decision by writing to contact@lakaygames.com.

4. Sensitive data

Information about sexual orientation or sex life is special category data under Article 9 of the GDPR. We process it only with your explicit consent. The corresponding feature will be enabled only after a prior legal analysis. If you choose to mention such information in your introduction, you do so on your own initiative and can edit or delete it at any time.

5. Who can see your data?

• Other members see the published parts of your profile (nickname or first name, age, city, country, introduction, goal, interests, approved photos).
• Your messages are visible only to the person you matched with. They are not end-to-end encrypted.
• Messages are not reviewed systematically. Only as part of a report, an authorised moderator may exceptionally view them; each access is logged.
• Campaign and referral links are used only for aggregated statistics. No personal data is passed on to partner content creators.
• We do not sell your personal data.

6. Processors

• Hosting and database: Supabase, in a region of the European Union.
• Transactional emails: transactional email provider (to be specified here before activation).
• Anti-bot protection: Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile).
• Error measurement: no third-party error-tracking tool is deployed to date.
• Push notifications: the notification service of your browser or system vendor, if you enable them.

We bind these processors with data processing agreements under Article 28 of the GDPR. We may also disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.

7. Transfers outside the European Union

Your data is hosted in the European Union. If a processor or one of its entities is located outside the Union, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses, with supplementary measures where necessary. You can request a copy from contact@lakaygames.com.

8. Retention periods

• Active account: for as long as your account exists, then deletion after 3 years of inactivity, following an email reminder.
• Deleted account: anonymisation or deletion within 30 days , with backups purged within 30 days.
• Rejected photos: [PERIOD] .
• Security logs: 12 months .
• Reports and moderation decisions: 3 years .
• Administration audit logs: [PERIOD] .
• Push subscription: until you withdraw it or remove it.

A longer period may apply where the law requires it.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, restricted access, logging of sensitive access. No system is infallible. In case of a data breach, we will inform you and the competent authority as required by law.

10. Your rights

You have the following rights:

• access, rectification and erasure;
• restriction of processing and objection;
• portability of your data;
• withdrawal of your consent at any time, without retroactive effect.

You can export your data and delete your account from the settings. For any other right, write to contact@lakaygames.com. We reply within one month, which may be extended as allowed by law. We may ask for proof of identity if we have doubts about who you are. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority, www.cnil.fr). Other rights may apply depending on your country of residence.

11. Cookies and trackers

MyMoun uses strictly necessary trackers: authentication session, language preference (mm_locale) and storage of your consent choices. Optional trackers are enabled only with your agreement. See the cookies policy for details.

12. Minors

MyMoun is forbidden to anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we delete it. Please report it to contact@lakaygames.com.
